My New Pencil Case

My friend Paula has been doing beautiful
things lately with Derwent Graphitint Pencils.
So much so that I was overwhelmed with
the need to have some for myself.

So I went shopping and not only did I find the
pencils, but they came in an extra special leather
case with a sketch book, pencil sharpener, eraser
and everything AND it was on sale! So of course
I had to have it. And the best thing about these
pencils, that I didn't even realize because Paula
doesn't use them that way, is that they are
water soluble, so I can do little paintings anywhere.

This is as good as all the good parts of the first day
of school!

That is one 'happy bunny' clutching the pencil case full of new pencils then!

Interesting... I've always been a prismacolor guy but lately I've been pretty furious with how often the leads have been breaking. It's gotten to the point where I have started saving each frequent broken lead. When I am finished my next book I will send a giant bag of broken leads to prismacolor along with my demand for .. well... something. I'll check out those Derwent Graphitint Pencils!
