Christmas

Christmas morning dawned peacefully,


but quickly became full of frenzied activity.


The tree needed to be guarded.


There were old friends to see and new people to meet.


The holidays were exhausting.

A few weeks ago I visited the Union Elementary School in Montpelier VT. Today I got the best surprise ever when I went to the post office. Thank you cards!

Sometimes creatures stand stone still,
