This Morning's Walk

Spring is slowly coming to the mountain.

 

 

The streams are full,

and if you look closely you can see things beginning to grow.

But the winter that never quite began

 

 is having a hard time letting go.

It can be confusing.

Mud Season

Spring isn't here yet.

Nothing is growing.

But the river is full of snow melt

and it has been too long since we went swimming.

Uh oh...

I've forgotten something but I can't remember what it was.
